Roxy’s is a beautifully presented cottage for two set in the countryside with friendly local amenities and excellent, world-famous attractions to help make your stay a memorable one. This cottage is perfect for couples or a romantic getaway.
Entering the cottage you will find yourself in the hallway where you can hang your coats and leave your walking boots. Head into the light and airy, open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area which has a comfortable sofa and large pouffe, perfect for settling into as you watch your favourite film on the Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric 2-ring hob, a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, plus a couple of breakfast bar stools.
The bedroom has a king-size bed with bedside drawers and open plan storage. The spacious bathroom is fully tiled and has a shower over a bath, meaning you can enjoy a relaxing soak or a refreshing shower. Outside, there is a shared paved area with bench-style seating.
There is private, off-road parking for one car.
This property allows dogs, with 1 permitted as standard. If you require more, this can be arranged in advance but please contact us before booking to discuss.
There are also two other one-bedroom cottages here which can be booked as part of a larger party.
We’re delighted to say that we have a lovely Tea Room on site, serving food and drink everyday.
There is also a large open woodland assured picnic area right next door which is perfect for some al-fresco dining, along with a selection of country walking and cycling trails nearby.
You can walk down to Causey Arch, the world’s oldest single-arch bridge and even take a trip on the oldest existing steam train in the world at the local Tanfield railway.
